Delete your Tietmo account

You can delete your Tietmo account — and the personal data associated with it — at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open Tietmo and go to your Profile tab.
2. Open Settings.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email tietmoapp@gmail.com from the email address your account is registered with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete the account and confirm, normally within a few days and at most within one month.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently deletes your profile and the personal data linked to it — your account and date of birth, messages, profile picture and banner images, expenses, votes, friendships, group memberships, and optional sensitive data (such as “crush” reactions and love-box messages). We also ask our analytics provider to delete your analytics records.

Some information is anonymised rather than deleted where it forms part of shared records — for example, photos you contributed to a shared group or event album may remain part of that shared space, and certain activity or moderation records are kept with your identity removed.
